Posted October 5, 2009. Well, after all morning cleaning the carb, the problem is still there. I pulled the carb and cleaned each of the jets and fuel screw and sprayed carb cleaner in their respective holes. I also used one of those compressed air cans to try to blow out any gunk. I set the fuel screw at exactly 3 turns out.To me, it’s hard to recommend a CRF250L or KLX250S over a DRZ400. The DRZ400 is better off road, weighs the same, has more power and is stupidly reliable. The new KLX300 and CRF300L will be good bikes, but no doubt underpowered.
