It looks like the motion sensor is very sensitive: all it takes for the red dot to turn on is slight tap on the table on which the gun lies. Under these conditions, it is no wonder the battery dies rather quickly. I am surprised to hear from Sig that at full brightness the battery last only 77 hours. I ask if they have a list that details how much battery life is reduced per brightness level and they admit they do have that information, but they do not make it available to the public. My suspicion would be the optic isn't fully secured. The battery door, so I could change batteries without re-zeroing is a selling point for a holosun optic imo. The biggest issue with the Zero is location of the brightness adjustment. Why Sig thought it was a good idea to put it right up against the lens inside the housing is unfathomable. I had the Romeo, returned it, and replaced it with the 507k.ROMEO ® OWNERS MANUAL ... the ROMEOZero (with battery installed) into the shroud before lowering it onto the pistol slide (Fig 2). Ensure that the raised threaded slots in the P365 pistol slide line up with the mount screw holes of the ROMEOZero.
